Kei Kobayashi (DJ kekq)

Based in Kyoto, Kei works under the unusual dual title of psychiatrist and designer, and is also a DJ with more than 20 years of experience. Built around contemporary jazz, electronic, experimental, ambient and drone music, his sets are driven by one ongoing question: how can a mix of music intoxicate the human brain? He spoke at Spectrum Tokyo’s “Yoitoi Summit 2026” about where the understanding of people and design ultimately lead.
